NMAWHC welcomes all club members to our regular monthly board meetings!!!! We Plan To See You There!

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to giving opportunities to local riders.

Founded in 1979, the Northern Michigan Association of Western Horse Clubs (NMAWHC) is a non-profit organization. The NMAWHC is here to support our friends, families, youth, and our communities in the development of their equine knowledge and skills. Our overall goals as an organization are to foster a healthy, fun, competitive, family-oriented opportunities for our members to enjoy their horses and develop friendships that last a lifetime.

As a non-profit, each year the monies from events, horse shows and fund-raisers are used for scholarships, equine educational events and year-end awards provided for our members. Each year our members have an opportunity to win awards including trophies, belt-buckles, embroidered directors  chairs, jackets, and much more!

             Mission Statement
It is the mission of NMAWHC to aid and guide our members in a cooperative joint effort to provide a fun environment that foster advanced learning, promotes successful endeavors and leads to the enjoyment of horses.

         Get Involved, Volunteer
You don't need to show horses to be part of the club. Volunteer to help at a show, attend meetings, join a committee - your input is valuable!
